Motivation
As Nicole mentions in the article Photojournalist Nicole Tung on what inspires her to cover conflicts such as the Arab Spring, Occupy Central, and Europe's refugee crisis, “As a war photojournalist what really moves her is seeing children and young people being used to fuel the fires of war. According to the article, Tung says "pictures tend to stay in people’s minds because it’s a frozen frame that can convey so much emotion."

My Major here at AIC is Nursing. The aspect of photojournalism or photojournalist career that relates in some way to nursing would be for example, you need to have images in order to know what facility you will be working for, or news about the facility. Photojournalism can also relate to nursing, by updating many health care workers with what is going around the world and specially the area they are in. Images could also be used to further explain procedures to patients, or just to get them to understand instead of just talking medially sometimes patients better understanding by looking physically at images.
